Haven't been here since the late 90s. a lot has changed a lot has stayed the same. The food and service are excellent. The owner is still as interactive as ever. He definitely knows how to run this business. I live about an hour away and I definitely would not mind the trip to come back here. Came with a co-worker and I had a very enjoyable experience.

SEAFOOD SENSATION MADNESS: The glorious clam bake goes for $39.99 on Monday (usually $55). You get a full lobster, clams, mussels, & shrimp. It also comes with a side dish of pasta, waffle fries, or salad. Paired well with the Sauvignon Blanc. The garlic bread is complimentary and tastes great. The waitresses are friendly and gave us good recommendations. Thank you Janice. Popei’s serves quality seafood at reasonable prices. Much value to be had here.

My family and I have been coming to Popei’s for years. We love grabbing their steamer bowl to share with the family and the complimentary garlic bread is one of the best we’ve had. Their lobster bisque has been a favorite of ours since we first started coming years ago. Everyday they have a different special happening like all you can eat shrimp. It’s a super cozy restaurant with staff that’s like family and great for families.

Our second time eating at Popei's, I have no idea what took us so long to find this wonderful place. My husband had the Cajun boil for the second time, he says it's so delicious. My friend and I each had 2 lb lobsters that were fantastic, sweet, meaty just perfect. Her husband had the ribs which were also so good. Shelby, our server, was attentive, pleasant and so we're all the other wait staff that's served, cleared etc. We sat outside under the tent, the music was very good and didn't blast us out so easy to have conversation. All together a really nice experience. We will certainly be back soon.

Great seafood! Looking for a family style taste? Come here. Everything was delicious. I ordered the surf and turf. We will be back for the drink that you offered us, Mr. Manager.. it was a pleasure having a conversation with you during my dinner. Thank you for that. I read a Review that was negative. The person ordered the same thing I just had. The guy said something about broccoli in the stuffing That the flounder comes in. He said it was disgusting. I beg to differ! That was one of the best ideas to put the broccoli in the stuffing. It added texture and flavor that I really enjoyed. I took a photo of it and added it to this post. It was absolutely delicious.

We were delighted to find that this establishment still offered exceptional seafood during our recent visit, which marked our return after a five-year absence. The special was outstanding, with 2 pound lobster, linguine with clam sauce, and other accompaniments that were expertly prepared. Shelby, our server, provided top-notch service and ensured that our needs were met. She also drew our attention to several specials that we hadn't noticed initially. Overall, this is a great choice for casual seafood dining. I will definitely return to this establishment.
